Drove to Assateague Island on a whim. Really wanted to go to the ocean and wanted to try and see the wild ponies. As we drove closer to the ocean the fog was getting heavier and thicker. We came off the bridge and could not see more than thirty feet in front of us when these ponies appeared out of the mist. The island was empty of people as it is before the tourist season and it was foggy and rainy. I loved it!!!
