Onwards and upwards as they say. Lots of changes are going on for me. I start seeing a therapist on Tuesday, Michael and I are meeting with a divorce lawyer Monday to draw up a separation agreement to file with the divorce papers. I hope to have a new to me car next week. The used car market is difficult to maneuver at this time but I thing I have it narrowed down to a few good possibilities. Michael and I are going to continue to live together and share a life together but without a marriage holding us together. I am hopeful.
I have come down with a doozy of a chest cold. No it is not the flu or Covid. I have been taking it easy for the past few days. We picked up a few groceries today. This time different areas were out of stock. Absolutely no chicken to be found, cereal was a bit scarce as was sodas and waters. Interesting times we live in.
I started keeping a journal again after not doing so for fifteen years. It helps ground me and remind me. I am enjoying it. It is a five year journal where there is a prompt for each day. I hope to start drawing more too. I have always enjoyed that and got away from it.
After a balmy December January sure has been damn cold. I am not complaining. I had forgotten what it felt like at 14 degrees in the morning. It takes me back to my childhood and living in Massachusetts. The best thing about winter to me is the night sky. I also enjoy being inside and able to tackle indoor projects without feeling like I should be outside. However come spring and I will be outside.
I hope this finds everyone well.
